What’s new at Universal CityWalk

Find out what’s new at Universal CityWalk, the shopping, dining and entertainment complex located just outside the Universal Studios gates.

At Universal CityWalk, there is always a great mix of food and fun especially with a local bent, including a huge Dodgers Clubhouse store for World Series fans and LudoBird for fans of high-end fried chicken.  Check out these new local eateries:

  • Poke Bar: Get your raw seafood fix here, with your choice of mix-ins, including seaweed, onion and pineapple.
  • Mini Monster: Sip on a boba tea drink in a light bulb jar while strolling along CityWalk. You’ll be the envy of everyone passing by!
  • Menchie’s: The local frozen yogurt favorite is now open for business at CityWalk. Menchie’s offers delicious flavors, including pineapple cake, toasty marshmallow, holiday eggnog and mudslide pie.

In addition to these new dining options, there’s Voodoo Doughnut from Portland, Oregon,  and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. Voodoo Doughnut is famous for its whimsical — and scary! — creations, such as the voodoo doll-shaped doughnut with a pretzel stake in its center. At Key West-themed Margaritaville, enjoy a blended cocktail and a Cheeseburger in Paradise.

There’s also a new AMC movie theater, Universal Cinema, which has a seven-story IMAX theater with LASER projection.

And don’t forget that whenever you’re checking out what’s new at Universal CityWalk, you can catch a taping of Extra with host Mario Lopez for free! You’ll never know which celebrities you’ll get to see at the Universal Studios globe.
